If you have editing privileges for the vessel, you can add extra weights for accurate stability calculations (for example to allow for the crew and their effects, for additional equipment such as lashing gear, or for non-containerized cargo).
You manage extra weights in the Extra Weights window. At the top, this window contains information about the coordinate system used. Underneath, it displays a list of all extra weight items. You can add (on page 1), delete (on page 1), and modify (on page 1) items.
You can modify the list by adding, deleting, or changing the order of columns, as with any other list in the XPS client. For more information, see Working with list views. For example, you can display longitudinal, vertical, and transverse centers of gravity, along with longitudinal, transverse, and vertical moments.
To open the Extra Weights window:
From the Vessel menu, select Extra Weights.
The Extra Weights window opens.
